D.T.K.C. stands for: Death To Khomeini Cheese. This was an inside joke. The band comes from the surrounding area of Leiden, South Holland. It's local cheese is called Komijne kaas, and Komijne sounds Khomeini. Komijnekaas is a dutch cheese from Leiden which is a variation of a Gouda but with cumin seeds. And we all know who Khomeini was.
